About the Village Library

Originally located as a storefront in Casady Square, The Village Library moved to its present location in May of 1990. The building was constructed with funds from a temporary sales tax in the city of The Village, and enjoys strong support from the city and The Friends of The Village Library.

Book drop: West side of building, immediately right of entrance.

  • 70,000 fiction and nonfiction items for adults and children including hardback and paperback books, magazines, newspapers, audio books and music on CDs, DVDs and fiction and nonfiction Large Print collection
  • Boy Scouts Merit Badge books
  • Computer access to the library system's collection of 1,000,000 items
  • Materials via interlibrary loan
  • Reference materials for in-library use are interfiled to provide all books on a topic in one location

Village Fair

There will be no Fair in May 2013.   The Village Fair is considering an alternate date and location in October 2013. Please check back for more details or visit the Village Fair website.
