Guitarist Extraordinaire Edgar Cruz To Give Concert at Warr Acres Library

He’s been voted Oklahoma’s Top Performing Artist and/or Acoustic Guitarist for over ten years in a row.  He’s been a headliner at The Chet Atkins Festival in Nashville since 1995.  He’s released 16 CDs and two DVDs.

He’s master classical and finger style guitarist Edgar Cruz, and he’s presenting a free Holiday Concert at the Warr Acres Library, 5901 NW 63rd, from 7:00 to 8:00pm on Tuesday, December 9, 2008.

“There’s no better way to celebrate your holiday season than with a concert,” said Warr Acres librarian Kelly Dalrymple, “and you’re not going to find a more delightful concert anywhere than one featuring the guitar wizardry of Edgar Cruz.  Edgar has been entertaining Oklahoma audiences for over 20 years.  I’m so glad we were able to book him at Warr Acres Library because he plays over 200 concerts a year.  It makes me wonder how many sets of fingers he’s worn out by now!”

The music is for all ages so everyone is invited to enjoy an evening filled with music by guitar virtuoso Edgar Cruz. The concert is free. Refreshments will be served.
