Midwest City Library Invites You To Have Fun While Getting Fit
Is it even possible to have a good time while learning healthy living skills?
The Midwest City Library, 8143 E. Reno, and the Healthy Family Fun & Fitness Foundation say, “Of course it is!” and they’re ready to prove it during Family Fun & Fitness Days, July 9, 16, and 23 from 10am to noon.
One of the most prevalent risks to good health in America today is our weakness for fast foods, lack of exercise, and a generally laissez faire attitude toward taking care of ourselves. “We can’t force anyone to change the way they live,” said Midwest City librarian Kristin Williamson, “but we hope that our Family Fun & Fitness Days will encourage everyone to think about it.“
Come to the library for entertaining activities and yummy—but healthy—snacks for the whole family.
“People who come to see us,” Williamson added, “will have a good time, they won’t even realize that they are learning fitness and healthy learning skills.”
