Literary Voices™ Event Featuring
Laura W. Bush Sold Out for 2011
Due to the overwhelming response from Sponsors and Patrons to the Literary VoicesTM evening with special guest, Laura W. Bush, the April 12, 2011 event has already been sold out.
“We had a tremendous amount of support from the public who wanted to be involved in next year’s event. Mrs. Bush has a remarkable audience in the Oklahoma County area, and since she is a former librarian and new author, this is an impressive coup for the Library Endowment Trust,” said Robert H. Brady, President of the Library Endowment Trust.
Mrs. Bush will also participate in a free event the morning after the fundraiser at the Ronald J. Norick Downtown Library. This special appearance will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on April 13, 2011, 300 Park Avenue in Oklahoma City.
“We hope this will please those who really want to hear her speak, but are not able to attend the fundraiser,” said Sue Ann Hyde, Literary Voices 2011 Event Chair. “This will be an amazing opportunity for everyone to hear about her book, Spoken From the Heart, and some of her life changing experiences.”
Registration to the free event will be required beginning on Jan. 5, 2011 by going to www.metrolibrary.org/laurabush or by calling (405) 606-3760.
