Ralph Ellison Library to close from 9am-2pm
On Wednesday, 12/15

The Ralph Ellison Library will be closed on Wednesday, Dec. 15 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. for outside electrical repairs by OG&E.

“We really hate to interrupt library service for any of our customers, but OG&E has to turn off the power to the building to make these repairs,” said Kim Terry, Director of Marketing and Communications for Metropolitan Library System. “OG&E is hopeful that the repairs should be completed by 2:00 p.m. so that we can open the library for our afternoon and evening service hours.”

The Metropolitan Library System of Oklahoma County includes 12 libraries and five extension libraries. Libraries include Belle Isle, Capitol Hill, Ralph Ellison, Ronald J. Norick Downtown Library and Southern Oaks in Oklahoma City, as well as Bethany, Choctaw, Del City, Edmond, Midwest City, Village and Warr Acres. Extensions are located in the communities of Harrah, Jones, Luther and Nicoma Park and include Wright Library in Oklahoma City. You can also reach us at www.metrolibrary.org.
