Undersea Printmaking Classes Part of Summer at the Library for Teens
The theme for the Teens’ Summer at the Library program in 2010 is “Make Waves at Your Library,” so an undersea event is natural.
One of the events for Teens is the Undersea Printmaking Class taught by local artist Erin Oldfield. Oldfield will show teens how to create the prints and then how to turn them into personal trading cards. The classes will be conducted in several Metropolitan Library System locations between June 4 and July 21.
“We provide the supplies,” said Emily Williams, MLS Youth Services Coordinator, “so everything is free. Erin produces some really remarkable works of art and is a great instructor to boot.”
