The Village Library Honors Veterans’ Day
With Special Presentation

Veterans’ Day is November 11 and The Village Library will honor Oklahoma’s veterans with a day of remembrance.

“Veterans’ Day Memories of World War II,” with host Mickey Sherman, will be presented beginning at 2:00pm on November 11.  The Village Library is located at 10307 N. Pennsylvania.  The program is a multi-media show.  Mickey Sherman was a flier during the war and will discuss his time in the air.

“Mr. Sherman has presented programs for the library system before,” said librarian Julianna Link, “and is very popular and knowledgeable.  He communicates beautifully with audiences of all ages so young people with an interest in World War II will enjoy what he has to say.  Everyone is welcome.  Registration is not required, so just show up on November 11 and make us part of your Veterans’ Day remembrance.”
