You’re making a New Year’s Resolution to get back into shape, aren’t you? Now you just need to find a way to make it more fun.
Try dropping by the Ralph Ellison Library, 2000 NE 23rd Street, every Thursday evening in January for a Boot Camp Workout. Co-sponsored by the Metropolitan Library System and Camp Gladiator, the sessions begin at 6:30 p.m. and last about an hour. A personal trainer will lead you through fun but challenging exercises. It’s all free but the library asks that you phone ahead, at 424-1437, to register.
“We’ll demonstrate some exercises you can do here and at home at other times during the week,” said librarian Taryn Kingery. “You might feel a little sore at first, but that’s how you know it’s working.”
