Start the new year with the contemporary and vintage sounds of Martha Stallings.

Belle Isle Library, 5501 N. Villa, presents a free concert with singer/pianist Martha Stallings starting at  2:00p.m., on Friday, January 7.

Stallings’ program is composed of musical standards with contemporary and vintage jazz.

“Martha Stallings has performed at the Belle Isle Library several times,” said librarian Ann Meeks, “and she has always been a real audience favorite.  We’re happy to have her return this year, and her concert will be a great opportunity to introduce young people who may not be familiar with this kind of music.”

The Martha Stallings concert is free and open to the public.  The performance is suitable for all ages.  Call the Belle Isle Library, 843-9601 with questions.
