Kids in central Oklahoma can start packing their bags and preparing to learn in a fun way about the world beyond our national borders.
Once again they have the exciting opportunity to travel the globe right in their very own local Metropolitan Library System library. The Junior League of Oklahoma City is teaming up with MLS to offer innovative and hands-on experiences for children in grades third through sixth. Our imaginary travelers will have a great time learning about the different cultures in Asia, Africa and Latin America. The program is free, but space is limited so pre-register at the Information Desk of whichever library nearest you is leaving port.
The Trip Around the World programs are designed for children in grades 3 – 6. Call (405) 606-3837 for more information.
A Trip Around the World is co-sponsored by the Junior League of Oklahoma City.
