Lose the Winter Blues With a Free Concert at Belle Isle Library

Get in the mood for Mardi Gras without having to go to New Orleans.

The Belle Isle Library, 5501 N. Villa, presents a Winter Mardi Gras Concert with the Roger Kimball Duo.  The musical fun is Saturday, February 2, at 2:00 p.m. at the library.  There is no charge for admission and the event is open to everyone.

“We’re really happy to have Roger join us,” said librarian Ann Meeks.  “He plays saxophone and keyboards, and is especially happy playing traditional jazz, standards, smooth jazz, funk and R&B.  He spent some time in the New Orleans area so when we say he can get you ready for Mardi Gras, he can back us up.”
