Looking for something imaginative and artistic you can do with your children? Edmond Library has just what you need.
Popular local artist and painting instructor Jim Pourtorkan will visit the Edmond Library, 10 S. Boulevard, to share his love of watercolors and introduce the basic skills and techniques of watercolor painting to children ages 8-12 and their parents on Saturday, November 16 at 10:00 a.m.
“Jim will show how to apply color and compose a painting,” said librarian Mary Ann Johnson. “It’s a hands-on demonstration. It’s free and the library will supply all the material.”
Library customers are asked to stop by the Edmond Library Information Desk or phone ahead to 341-9282 to sign up. The class will be limited to 10 children aged 8-12 and one parent per child.
