If music be the food of love, no one will go hungry when master pianist Wayne McEvilly brings the pure pleasure of beautiful piano music to the Edmond and Belle Isle Libraries.
McEvilly performs some of the loveliest music ever written for the piano on Sunday, May 5, 2013, as he performs “Schubert with Art by Ser” at the Edmond Library, 10 S. Boulevard. He will also play at the Belle Isle Library on Sunday, June 2. The Belle Isle Library is located at 5501 N. Villa. Both performances begin at 2:00p.m. There is no admission charge and the concerts are suitable for all ages.
McEvilly’s partnership with the classics of the piano repertoire has been a favorite of MLS library listeners since his move from California to Oklahoma City in 2004.
“This,” McEvilly said, “is part of my life's work to offer my performances of Mozart, Schubert, Beethoven, Bach and Chopin to everyone, all ages, no exclusions.”
